Scouting At christ United

For over 25 years Christ United has hosted Scouting programs. We work hard to make sure that all of the students involved in the Scouting program experience a safe environment by having all of the leaders follow the United Methodist Church's Safe Sanctuary policies.

  • Cub Scouts

The Cub Scouts are one of the BSA's premier programs, offering citizenship, character, personal fitness, and leadership for youth in grades K to 5.  Christ United hosts Pack 422 that meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 6pm.  For more information contact the Pack Leader Jamey Sillence.

  • Boy Scouts

Boy Scouts of America has been helping serve others and instill values in young people and, in other ways, to prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime in achieving their full potential.  Christ United has hosted Troop 550 since 1995 and is proud to have had 120 Scout reach Eagle Scout.  We have over 40 young men who are active in our program but always looking for new participants.  You can contact Kevin Mixon to get more information.

  • Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. We are proud to host Troop 60421 at our church on Friday evenings at 7pm. Terri Marcum for more information about our troop.
