At Christ United we value and celebrate the various ministries and community resources that are connected to our church.  Below you can find more information about a few of these groups. If you would like to get connected to serve or support them reach out to LouAnn.

Tuesdays at 7pm

Boy Scouts

Boy Scouts of America has been helping serve others and instill values in young people and, in other ways, to prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime in achieving their full potential.  Christ United has hosted Troop 550 since 1995 and is proud to have had 120 Scout reach Eagle Scout.  We have over 40 young men who are active in our program but always looking for new participants.  You can contact Kevin Mixon to get more information.

Cub Scouts

The Cub Scouts are one of the BSA's premier programs, offering citizenship, character, personal fitness, and leadership for youth in grades K to 5.  Christ United hosts Pack 422 that meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 6pm.  For more information contact the Pack Leader Jamey Sillence.  

Friday at 7pm

Girl Scouts

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. We are proud to host Troop 60421 at our church on Friday evenings at 7pm. Terri Marcum for more information about our troop.

Family Promise

Christ United partners with Family Promise of Greater Houston County which exist to help homeless families with children to regain their housing, their independence, and their dignity. In Houston County over a dozen churches work together to share the love of God with these families by providing meals and fellowship. Christ United hosts families once a quarter throughout the year.  If you would like to have more information about Family Promise contact Bruce Capehart.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels covers all of Houston County, GA including Warner Robins, Centerville, Perry, Kathleen, Bonaire, and all towns in between. Their mission is to provide home delivered meals to homebound seniors and disabled people of all ages . These meals enable their clients to keep their independence longer.  If you would like more information contact Kenny Weaver.

Food Pantry

One of the ways Christ serves in our community is by partnering with the Warner Robins First United Methodist Food Panty.  Warner Robins First is located at 205 N. Davis Drive.  Operating hours for the Food Pantry are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-4pm.  For further information, contact 478-923-3737, ext. 113.
